This Privacy policy applies to the information we collect when you use “Hefty Haulers LLC” website mobile application and other online products and services. Hefty Haulers is dedicated to protecting your personal information and informing you of how we use this information. We may change this policy from time to time. If we make changes to this agreement, we will notify you by revising the date at the top of the policy. By reviewing this privacy policy carefully, you are accepting the practices described in this policy at this time.

Information we collect

“Personal Information” means that alone or when in combination with other information may be used to readily identify, contact, or locate you, such as: name, address, email address, or phone number. We do not consider Personal Information to include information that has been anonymized so that it does not allow a third party to easily identify a specific individual.

When we collect Information

We collect Personal information when you register to use the service, log in with social networking credentials and communicate with us. We also collect information, such as, anonymous usage statistics, by using cookies, server logs, and other similar technology as you use the service.

Personal Information collection

You must register to use the service. To register you may need to provide Personal Information. If you are a customer, you must provide your name, phone number and email. If you are a delivery professional, you must provide you name, email address, phone number, postal address, and date of birth. We also collect non-personal information, such as information about your car and insurance company information.

Social Media Networks

If you are a customer, you may log in through a social network. If you do, then we collect personal information from the social media website when you use your credentials to log in to the service. For example, when you log in with your Facebook credentials, we may collect the personal information you have made publicly available in Facebook, such as your name and profile picture.

Background checks

When you register as a Driver or a Helper through Hefty Haulers, you will have to provide your name and birthdate. That information will be used by a third party-service to conduct a background check.

Payments

When you make or receive payments through the service, you may need to provide personal information to our third-party service providers, such as your credit card or bank account number.

Customer support

We may collect personal information through your communications with our customer support team.

Location Information from your mobile device

We collect and store your location information if you enable your mobile device to send it to us. Collection of this information may improve the provision of the service.

By providing your mobile phone number to Hefty Haulers, you consent to receive text messages from Hefty Haulers to such mobile phone number.

We may use information, including personal information, to facilitate transmittal of information that may be useful, relevant, valuable or otherwise of interest to you.

Your Hefty Haulers profile is password protected, so that only you and authorized Hefty Haulers employees have access to your account information. In order to maintain this protection, do not give your password to anyone. Hefty Haulers staff will never proactively reach out to you and ask for any personal account information, including your password. If you share a computer, you should sign out of your Hefty Haulers account and close the browser window before someone else logs on. This will help protect your information entered on public terminals from disclosure to third parties.

Hefty Haulers makes every effort to ensure that your information is secure on its system. Hefty Haulers has staff dedicated to maintaining our privacy policy as set forth herein and other privacy initiatives, periodically reviewing web security and making sure that every Hefty Hauler employee is aware of our security practices. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, Hefty Haulers cannot 100% guarantee the security of any information you transmit to us, and you do so at your own risk. The Hefty Haulers platform may contain links to other websites. We are of course not responsible for the privacy practices of the web sites. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave the Hefty Haulers platform to read the privacy statements of each web site that collects personally identifiable information.
